NicoleCampCreative
Hi! New user here.. I'm researching Squarespace as a replacement for our current Wordpress site. I'm still not sure it can cover our requirements. We run an event that happens for 1 week in January every year. There are 80 courses during that week and we generally have 1000 students. We already have a ticketing provider and have added their ticketing info to our Wordpress site via the 'item hash' that they provide for each of our 80 courses. I've created a dummy website with Squarespace and I'm still playing with the functionality. I've created an event page and am trying to add the html code from our ticket provider by adding an 'embed' section, but it just shows as blank space on the dummy website. I've also tried adding it as a 'code' section, but the same thing happens. Here is a course on our current website: https://campcreative.com.au/courses/indigo-shibori-with-natural-dyes/ Right down the bottom of the page is the ticketing widget. I need to figure out if Squarespace can add this code. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Link to comment
Ziggy
Typically you can embed on Sqaurespace the same as you would on any other website platform. Can you share the code and your website? You may need to white-list the domain on the ticketing website for the embed code to show. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! I'm not sure what you mean by white-listing the domain? My tech skills only go so far! It might be important to mention that I haven't transferred our live domain yet as I'm still figuring out if Squarespace will work for us. Here is my dummy Squarespace website: tuna-tarpon-fnt2.squarespace.com Here is the code for the widget from Ferve (our ticketing provider): <script async src="https://tix.campcreative.com.au/js/FTAPI.js?h=1a654ca794f342f3acd668feb8810e22&u=https://tix.campcreative.com.au/&s=https://tix.campcreative.com.au/&itemHash=2d06f53f633c4b64a2f697d87bd4334a&checkout=false&ftapi=true" id="ft_ftapiJS"></script> Link to comment

Basically all that means is allowing your ticketing embed to only work on websites that you want it to by nominating a specific domain(s). I don't know if that's necessary for this ticketing provider, it's not one that I'm familiar with. I would check your widget with Ferve and their support should be able to help more than I can here.
