Add a button "Less more"

Hello,

I would like a code for introduce "Read more" button on my pages Squarespace web site.

Same as this page https://www.themarque.com/profiles for example

When user clic on "Read More", the rest of the content unfolds and the visitor remains on the same page. Which allows more content to be displayed if the user wishes.

The fonction no exist on SquareSpace bulder.

Someone know a code for this ?

A code where I can add the button "Read more" on my page squarespace (in my block for exemple) with possibility to change button background color, button text color and the content of the text that is displayed when the button is clicked.

If a code exist I'm interested.

And if a developer can create this code for me I'm interested too.

We can achieve this with some custom code. But first you need to share link to page where you want to achieve this, we can check & test code easier.

My ideal, add some initial items + a button with name Load More

Add a section under Load More

Use CSS code to hide this section

Use JS code, when users click on Load More >> Show hided section + hide button Load More

Depending on what content you are looking to load, you could try this plugin.

This works on Summary Blocks, it allows you to have a "load more" button.

See if this does what you are looking for? In terms of customising the button, it'll have to be done with code.
