erbeattie Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Hello I designed a squarespace site and then purchased a squarespace domain and published the site. When I look on my dashboard it all appears to be working but if I google the website or in type in the address it says the site is still under construction. Can anyone help with this? Thanks, Liz Edited January 21 by erbeattie adding an image
DanielleDD Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Hi! I’m having the same issue. I recently designed a squarespace site and then purchased a squarespace domain and published the site. Like you, when I look on my dashboard it all appears to be working but if I google the website or in type in the address it says the site is still under construction. I have reached out to customer service twice, but haven’t received a reply. Did you find a solution?
Mikaela_mazur Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Hi! I’m also having this issue. Did either of you find a solution? Thanks!
derricksrandomviews Posted June 28 Posted June 28 (edited) It can a long time, up to 72 hours, for a domain, especially one from outside the USA, to propagate through the internet. The site https://www.smallstepspsych.com.au/ is an example. Edited June 28 by derricksrandomviews
Anchorstar Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I'm having the same issue. When I go to my domain "https://www.lamblocallawns.com" it takes me to a construction page that says "We're under construction. Please check back for an update soon." I'm confused because going to the home page at the following link works. https://www.lamblocallawns.com/home
derricksrandomviews Posted June 29 Posted June 29 (edited) Have you set lamblocalllawns.com as your home page in settings? Is it set as your primary domain? Your contact link on the Nav bar does not work without /contact added in the address bar. clicking contact takes you to lamblocallawns.com which is also under construction. I think you need to ensure your home page is set for home and has the URL slug home. Clicking on your logo/title should take you to the actual homepage and it does not which seems to indicate that the pages are not enabled properly. Edited June 29 by derricksrandomviews
derricksrandomviews Posted June 29 Posted June 29 This may seem like a simple question but have you published the site?
Ken12345 Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Hi, I am facing the same issues as well, I have published the site, (Making it public under setttings.) Also set my domain as the primary domain. The dns settings has been done for more than a few days. Which should already been propagated as shown on whatsmydns Could you please assist on this matter as squarespace customer service is slow? henro44 Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I'm having the exact same issue. I published my site harperpointe.org and made it public, enabled all of my pages, made Home the homepage. I've done everything and still it will not work. I have looked through numerous articles and questions and can't find a solution. Please respond to this issue.
whimsyandwool Posted July 14 Posted July 14 I am having the same issue. Did you figure out how to resolve it?

LFYS Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Hello, I left Shopify for Squarespace and am not sure it was the right move. The only thing I transferred was the domain and email away from GoDaddy. Starting from scratch is scary. Both of my websites have been under construction for 72 hours. Is it 72 hours during the weekday? I have read many threads, watched videos, and done everything correctly. (I hope!) GoDaddy domain transfer is complete. But, to verify myself and have contact with Squarespace, I had to get new Google Workspace emails since the transferring ones couldn't be reached, and my website progress came to a standstill. I'm concerned with customer service moving forward, especially if magic doesn't happen on Monday with a live website or two. Everything I read says they have no control over this, which seems ridiculous in today's tech world. It does not inspire confidence.
