Defect for quote styles? The vertical bar goes missing when page is published

There appears to be a defect in the quotes style. The vertical bar only shows up when the page is in edit mode.

After the page is published, the vertical bar disappears. This appears to be happening on both desktop and mobile views. Is there a current workaround for this? 

Hoping there would be a permanent solution but would appreciate a workaround for now. Thanks!

The same behaviour sadly also applies to the Squarespace Mailer. In sent mails the vertical line left of quoted text goes missing. I reckon changing the site's CSS doesnt solve that (inline) stuff for sent mails. Or is there another solution @tuanphan

CSS code can't run on this area.. You try contact SS Customer Care to see if they has any solutions

That's what I suspected indeed. Strange that this bug is persisting for months and months on SS. As if they don't care?
