  1. I want my header tags in the blog posts of my website to be styled differently to the way h1, h2, h3 are styled on the rest of my site. Is this possible?
  2. I cant find any stylizing settings in the design styles section. Do I have to do this with custom code? Im using the Motto template. Feel free to check out the website here www.thecharlesbar.ca. You will see that the menu items arent stylized properly :( Thanks!
  3. Hello, I'm desperately trying to get my site logo colour to invert on my homepage. It needs to be black everywhere else except my homepage where I want it to be white. I've found an old thread that has a very similar query to this but the custom CSS code that was suggested didn't work for me. Any ideas?
  4. I've got two images and the text overlay over one of the images is too long for tablet and mobile view and gets cut off. I'm using Maple template. Thanks for your help!
  5. I have an option in my menu that I want to be styled differently to the other options. Is it possible to do this or can you only style all of the options as one?
  6. I have had to put in a Markdown block and add in code to make two sections into white text & centered.(they are on two different pages) The rest of my website had a css code put in to justify all the text which I was fine with until I realized it affected my headings which I had to code in as mentioend above. How can I get my body text to remain justified but at the same time have my markdown block also respond to the css code to keep it centered... Markdown CSS used: < html> < head> < style> div.a { text-align: center; color: #ffffff style="color:#fff;font-family:ltc-bodoni-175;" font-size:3em } div.b { text-align: center; color: #ffffff style="color:#fff;font-family:nunito;" font-size:1em } Get in touch <p>Let's have a chat and see how we can best help you!</p> </ div> </ body> </ html> Custom CSS: p { text-align: justify !important; } url: https://love-petsphotography.squarespace.compw: LovePets#1
  7. Hello!I'm having a really difficult time styling the events page as nothing seems to be responding except the type of text. This is what I have and here is a link. My questions are: Can I style the "request a quote" button only? Why is the second name ("Devon") center-aligned, while the first is not? --see picture attached Can I have the thumbnails slightly smaller on mobile view? Targeting the "Request a Quote" form for in-line
  8. Hi, As per my title, is it possible to have stacked view only in single event pages, and non-stacked view in the events calendar? By events calendar I mean the page with all the events listed -- I have it as a list and not a calendar. I have vertical event thumbnails that look terrible in stacked view, but I do prefer stacked view (with the title and details on top and not on the left) in the event pages. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do that? Thank you!
  9. I keep trying to change the font on my text and every time I leave the design tab, the font reverts back to the original font for the Ishimoto template. When I go back into the Site Styles editing tab it shows that the fonts are what I want them to be even though they are still showing as the original fonts to the template. What can I do??
  10. Hi, I have added some custom font types to my website using the Custom CSS function, and for the most part, my custom styles are loading fine. Where I am having issues, is that pre-loaded fonts do not always show correctly within my website and default back to what is set in the sites styles. As a few examples, the code I am using is as follows. h1, h1 a, h1 blog title, entry-title { font-family: 'Wilderness'; } h2 { font-family: 'Wilderness'; } normal { font-family: 'Laski Sans'; } Wilderness is the custom font, that loads fine. Where I am having issues is the Laski Sans, which is a preexisting font on Squarespace. Even having this selected as Laski Sans in the site styles see's it not retain the font face and switch to another random font style. Is this a known / recurring issue for people? Is there a way to resolve and work around. It is also worth noting this largely tends to occur with card blocks, also if I click the card in page mode the font will correct itself. Then change back after a few hours/if I come on the next day. Thanks in advance!
  11. Oh! I'm using the Kent template if that matters.
  12. There I was, rubbing my hands together, ready for the official launch of my website. After uploading the top picture which was simply a white background with my logo centered, in big, I was gleaming with excitement but TO MY HORROR I realized the picture I posted had an overlay on it just like every other picture on the entire website. The masterpiece I had spent weeks working had been ruined. The big bright logo looked dull and mundane. How could I overlooked such an obvious mistake? I practically tried to redo the entire website so I won’t even post the link to what is now an abomination! I just wanted the Bedford template to feature my logo in the middle on the top like templates like Pacific or Dovetail. That is my tale of woe. So how do you remove the overlay on just ONE banner image with a Hayden/Bedford template using CSS? It is the homepage, the first picture in my index. GENNICK? Squarespace Guru? Alan Houser? Somebody help!
  13. I'd like to use a Montserrat light in my nav, in style editor, the only weights listed as options are 400 and 700. How would I address the nav in the css to adjust the font weight? Thanks!
  14. Essentially I want to have one page, my home page, different to the rest. Is there anyway to do this? I don't mean change the layout or what have you, I simply want this page to have all its aspects transparent. Such as Content Background, Headings Colour, Body Text Colour, so you can just see the background image and it acts like a home page. I want to be able to change the aspects of the page without influencing or changing the whole site... I am using the Momentum template. Cheers
