Sending Form submission data to Google Ads using DOM Element CSS Element Selector

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

I'm trying to send form submission data (phone number and email address) back to google ads in order to track conversions using the 'enhanced conversions' method.

I can get it to work but the issue that I'm having is that the  DOM Element - CSS Selector - Element Selector keeps changing every so often which breaks the link and so the data doesn't get picked up.

Please see image below for the element selector used in google tag manager to capture an email address.

Is there any way of overcoming this issue?

I have several unique submission forms for various location pages on my website.

Appreciate any help.
