Changing the object fit of a container from "cover" to "contain"

Hey guys, need help with a website I am working on. I need to change the object fit of every photo in this container and also change the padding on each side. What code do I need to achieve this? I tried doing it with my browser inspect element section and it worked but I need it on my actual website.
