turn an image into a button plus hover

Hello first post here (first time user too) so hi everyone

I want to modify an image in a pre-made section, I think its made as a list, but after using it I understand they have set parameters  and I cannot customise it within the panel.

I would like  to get rid of the button (read more) and have the image act as a button instead, with the classic hover effect 

Is that possible or need I create a new section? I am on basi so not sure I can code inject

Hi, what type of section are you using? If you don't need a specific functionality from that pre-made section, you could create your own section with more design control.

If you need to use a pre-made section, can you please share a link to your website so we can help easier. Can you explain more? Where will the button click through to? (internal or external link?) What roll over effect are you looking for?

Where is the section? Can you send a screenshot?
