broken link

Recommended Posts

Our site has become really slow to load. We had a designer help us set up the site over 3 years ago and it's been fine until recently. I reached out the support and they flagged this offending code from our homepage header:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://vassil.org/nz.css">

I checked and the site in the href is no longer up. I found a copy of the stylesheet in the Wayback machine. Can I host this code on the Squarespace site or does it need to be external to Squarespace? could I use dropbox to host it?

Thanks

Hey @Nzilani! Since that is likely just CSS, you can just add it to the CSS editor. Or yes, you can host it and link to it.

If you add the CSS directly, make sure to add the contents of the file (not the name of the file/link).

(In case you weren't sure how to add custom CSS: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206545567-Using-the-CSS-Editor)
