MakingWaves
I have an IG feed on this contact page https://www.nikkirees.com/contact and when you click on a Reel/Video, it doesn't take you to the specific Reel on IG, instead it takes you to your main feed. It's only on mobile (desktop seems to link just fine) and only appears to be a problem with a Reel/video post, a picture post links just fine. Anyone experiencing the same thing? I've tried disconnecting IG, reconnecting, deleting the block and reinstalling the block. Still the same result. Any ideas? TIA Link to comment
HOMENCREATIVE
I'm having this same issue! Trying to find a solution but can't anywhere. My only next resort is to purchase an Instagram Feed plugin from a third party....but I would ideally like to avoid this. I also noticed that some video reel embeds display "watch video on Instagram" while some play directly on the website page. Anyone know why this is happening? MakingWaves 1 Link to comment

mariyaleona
I am having the same issue with reels on mobile... what can I do to fix it? I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting but it;s not doing anything. The regular posts links based to my instagram profile But when it comes to reels, it links out to general instagram home page Link to comment
markjwarman
This should be a pretty basic fix but a significant issue for Squarespace customers. For all intents and purposes, our websites appear broken to end users which affects potential customer’s trust and in turn, sales. Given how quickly this industry moves, I feel quite strongly that Squarespace is dropping the ball. Can we at least get an update with a roadmap on fixing this obvious bug? Link to comment
newcollargoods
Here to support other commenters. Squarespace is viewed as a design-forward and small-business friendly approach to website building. It seems very strange to be out of step with current social media features. Having reels on the Instagram feed of my website would include more valuable content that we've curated and help inform our potential customers of our most current work. As a small business, anything that we can do to make sharing our goods/services easier, the better it is for us. Please consider allocating some resources to sorting the issue that is preventing reels from displaying in the instagram feed on my website as well as showing the most current posts, rather than prioritizing posts with multiple images or videos. It feels a little clunky and incongruent. Edited August 21 by newcollargoods additional notes Link to comment
