Videos on Private pages listed as 'Access denied."?

When I try to view uploaded videos on my site, i get the 'Access denied. contact site owner for permission' error. In the editor nothing is wrong. Help!

Here's the workaround: Add the affected video to a different public page, like a Not Linked videos page (which can even be set as a disabled page). Because it's a public page, it resets the asset usage to be publicly accessible on the course overview page.
