how to make navigation bar smaller in height in squarespace 7.1

Hi There,

Does anyone know how to make the navigation bar smaller? I have used a couple css codes and they just don't work. I currently have it set at 1VW but it's still to tall. Any suggestions to making it smaller? 

I would like to get rid of space that's on top so its thinner and centered almost. Any help is appreciated.

Welp, I figured it out. If anyone needs the code here it is:

.announcement-bar-reserved-space .sqs-announcement-bar-dropzone {
  min-height: 0.85em !important;
}

you should be able to change the height to where you like it best. It's original height was 1.7em so I adjusted according to my liking.
