Having difficulty deleting lines

I am trying to break up my text into different sections. The line that runs down the middle is preventing me from doing that. Does anyone know how I could delete this? Please see images attached. 

For greater context I am a musician and would like to present my set list broken up into decades. The intention would be to have the decade in bigger font with the artist and song titles listed in the correct decade.

What line are you referring to? The column divide?

If you want to break the content into full-width sections you'll have to split the content up and then rearrange it piece by piece to look how you want. If you want two text blocks next to each other, add a new spacer block at the very bottom of the page, then move one text block below it, then drag the second one down and inset it on the right side of the first text block. Repeat this for all of the blocks until they are in the right order, then delete any spacer blocks that you don't want. This isn't the easiest process to explain, but if you give it a go then you should be able to figure out what's happening.
