Number Counter with prefix and suffix

I'd like some help animating these numbers on my homepage, counting up from 0 to the end number when a user scrolls to this section (2 second duration). I've seen some solutions that almost work but don't take into consideration the extra symbols like "$" "M" "K" etc. Ideally I'd like to not use any plugins.

You could try this thread, it may work. When you say "Ideally I'd like to not use any plugins." are you concerned about using the code or paying for code?
