Email & Domain Name from Siteground to Squarespace

I am helping a small business who would like to transfer their web hosting from Siteground to Squarespace. We were in the process when Siteground automatically renewed yesterday (even though she is not set up on auto renew) so I think we can work through that with their customer service.

The question came up about the email address that was provided as part of the webhosting. Can that be transferred? She has a google ads credit associated with that email address and doesn't want to lose it.
