Remove blank space above and below the code block for my email list signup form

I added a code block for my ConvertKit email list form on SquareSpace. In edit mode, I get a "Safe Preview" popup and I'm unable to adjust the size of the block to make it smaller. Then when viewing my page in another browser, there is soooo much blank space above/below my form that I definitely don't want. Can anyone help? See screenshots below. Thank you!
