Judge.me Free Vs Awesome Plan Benefits

Recommended Posts

We currently use the free extension for Judge.me, it does have limitations in that it only sends one review 14 days post fulfillment. Do you know if you upgrade the Judge.me plan to Awesome, if the custom templates and review reminders then get applied to squarespace?  If someone has done this upgrade, what were the pros/cons. Did it require any custom code or did the extension apply automatically. Thanks!

Judge.me is great for managing reviews of physical products When you upgrade to the Awesome plan you will have access to the additional features you mentioned.

However, there are some other limitations when using Judge.me with Squarespace (as opposed to Shopify) so I've listed them here for reference:

  • Physical products only: Reviewers can't submit reviews for service or digital products. The Review Widget won't be displayed. This is a limitation imposed by Squarespace.
  • Preview Badge for Collection on Homepage: You cannot currently display the star rating and the number of reviews for a specific product in a collection on homepage.
  • Reviews Carousel: You cannot create a carousel of featured reviews and place it anywhere in your store
  • Verified Reviews Count Badge: You cannot show the total number of verified reviews you have received, as well as the aggregate rating of all these reviews
  • Judge.me Medals: You cannot showcase the quality and quantity of your reviews such as authenticity, transparency, total verified reviews, etc.
  • All Reviews Page: You cannot build a dedicated page to collect and display both product and shop-level reviews
  • All Reviews Text: You cannot display the total number of published reviews and the average rating
  • Multi-language widgets: You cannot display widgets in multiple languages using default translations
  • Auto-generated coupons: Judge.me can’t generate coupons automatically
  • Push and SMS requests: You cannot send review requests via push notifications and SMS
  • Blacklist Automation by Tags: You cannot add tags to blacklist a product/customer/order to stop sending review requests
  • You cannot click to view orders associated with reviews from the reviews dashboard.

Thank you. Couple of clarifying questions!

  • Custom reminders -When I am in judge.me, it shows that I have on 'enable automatic reminders' however, I dont believe this feature is on through SS because there is just the one request at 14 days.
    • If we upgrade to Awesome plan, are we able to use this feature?
    • And is this something that is set up through Judge.me?
    • Or Is this something that can be set up as an automation in SS for those that have purchased?
  • If we upgrade to Awesome, are we still limited to the review request going out at day 14 or can we adjust?
    • If we can adjust, does that happen in SS or Judge.me?
  • Push and SMS requests: You cannot send review requests via push notifications and SMS
    • How is this push notification different from the automatic reminders?
