Smaller header?

Hi everyone

I am trying to get the header on my page to be thinner.  Seems like this should be easy but I can't find a way to make that happen.

Is there an easy way to do this with CSS?

Try this Custom CSS:

.header .header-announcement-bar-wrapper {
  padding-top:0;
  padding-bottom:0;
}

If you want it shorter still, you will have to make the logo smaller.

Thank you very much.... but I still have a problem.

The image I have up there is pretty small but I think I ended up having to put a block behind the header so the background of the header was black.  Now I can't get the main section of the site to move up because that section will not let me do that.

See the screenshot attached.  That row that I have in the highlighted circle is the same height I would like to make the header smaller.  

Is there a way to get the header to be black on it's own so I can delete that section?  That would probably fix my issue with the large header at the top right?

One other question, kind of related.  I want to get two links from my site navigation bar  into the footer, is that possible to do?  Or do I need to make custom buttons for this?

You'll want to create those links in the footer manually, either buttons or text links, whichever is most appropriate to your design.
