Stella18
Hello, We've just finalised our website, very happy with how it looks on desktop, whole other story when it comes to mobile. Everything is upside down. I am afraid none of us are IT specialists, so can't really work with code. Can someone please explain what we can do to achieve an adequate result for mobile devices? So many ppl use their phones nowadays to open websites, it's a crime not to have it working there! Link is here. Many thanks! Stella Link to comment
Ziggy
You need to edit your mobile layout, it's available in the top right corner when you're editing each page. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/6421525446541-Editing-your-site-with-Fluid-Engine#toc-mobile-layout Fluid Engine has separated the desktop and mobile layouts which was a major change from the previous Squarespace page editor that did this for you. Now you need to go through every page and reorder all of the blocks. You will also need to check the mobile page after every edit you make, especially when you add a new block, as new blocks currently get added to the very bottom of the section, not where you place them on desktop. I hope that helps! Edited January 23, 2023 by Ziggy Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers! When you are using Squarespace 7.1's Fluid Engine editor, the mobile layout is independent of the desktop layout. If you switch to the mobile device editor you will then have complete control over how your pages appear on mobile devices. Did this help?
