msmbuildersllc
I want to display emails and phone number but I want it to be protected against bot scrapping. Splitting phone into 2 textboxes isn't clean enough. Is it possible to recaptcha something that is not a form? Is there some code injection that could do the trick? Link to comment
Ziggy
There aren't great ways to do this, anything a human can read can be scraped and read by a bot, forms with recaptcha are how people avoid putting their email address on their website, but that doesn't work well for phone numbers. Even if you hide the phone number on the page, it will still have to be written in the html code, and will still be scraped. Placing it in multiple text boxes would be effective, but I'm sure you're right that it isn't a nice design. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers!
