embed flodesk form in footer

Hi all, 

I'm wanting to embed my mailing list subcriber form into my footer. I use flodesk and have an html snippet, when I add a code block in the footer and paste it in, it gives me an error. Please help!!!

It is default message in edit mode. Try preview the site

One more question on this if I may, any idea how I can get it to be aligned with the other columns?

Add this code to Design > Custom CSS

/* align footer flodesk form */
form[class*="ff-"] {
    padding-top: 0px !important;
}
