Please Help - My stock photos load up load super huge

Please can someone help.

I had a designer complete my initial site but I have tried to add a new product range of some headbands.

The Stock / Product photos load really large and I can't work out how to get the entire photo in the thumbnail. As they're already enlarged when you hoover the mouse it just blows the image up even larger. You never get to see the product

I have read the Formatting your images for display on the web as well as other guides but they don't help and I've also used the live chat who although try their best direct me to the guides.

My photos fit the image requirements and I've messed around with the aspect ratios but I really can't seem to get it to work properly. I've been work on it for days and I'm going a little mad
