Sticky text with changing active states

Hi, I want to do something similar to this site where a sticky text header changes active states while scrolling. 

I'm unsure of how to code a split section with one side being sticky, and then the changing of the active text header.

This layout requires:

- Adding sticky heading element on the left

- Combine Using javascript and Css code to make the heading highlighted when they are in viewport.

- Using anchor link to set the heading scroll to its image element
