Go to Commerce > Product Reviews and check if reviews are enabled.

Squarespace introduced new review settings on 14 March 2022 and it appears this rollout caused reviews to be disabled on a number of sites. If they appear to be on, toggle the setting off, save the changes and then toggle it back on again, saving again.
