JosuaTimEhmer
Site URL: https://koala-seal-sy7w.squarespace.com/ Hi there, my company is currently examining a potential switch of our website to squarespace. We are trying to offer a catalog of physical products without specific prices. Still we see the opportunity to let customers put the quantity of products, which they need, in their basket. Problem is we wouldnt need a common checkout, but the ability to recieve the basket via E-Mail. This would enable us to create a specific B2B offer? My first idea was simply to avoid the next Steps of the shop by alternating the link of the "Versand" (delivery) Button with a mailto:customemail@... Any ideas? Support basically said this is generally not possible but maybe there is an unseen way. Link to comment
Solution paul2009 Posted March 15, 2022 Solution Share Posted March 15, 2022 (edited) You are right. There isn’t a way to change the Squarespace checkout to take B2B orders without online payment. The checkout is locked down and cannot be changed except to add extra form fields. I get asked about customising the checkout frequently, so here's my more detailed answer. However, if you want to receive details of products from customers without taking payments you may be interested in our paid extension called the Product Wishlist extension.
