duplicated website in Google results (not wanted)

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://sgdairy.com.au

I am puzzled at how to have only one version of my website in Google.

For some reason, the squarespace website appears to be competing with my own site. there's the mydomain.com.au version, and the longdomainname.squarespace.com version.  Google has indexed both sites - I can see this by using the following commands:

  • site:sgdairy.com.au
  • site:southgippslanddairy.squarespace.com

How do I get it so that there is only one page on the Internet with my website content?

Thanks for any help 🙂

Hi @wonderwoman. Just change the built-in domain to something other than southgippslanddairy.squarespace.com. Then it will eventually fall out of the index. You'll also want to verify that you aren't unintentionally linking to the built-in domain anywhere.
