Losing custom CSS when migrating page to section

Hi there,

I recently created a new page with a bunch of custom CSS.  Even though the targeted IDs remained the same, most of the styling is lost when I move the page onto another page (the homepage) as a "section".  Any idea what's happening here?

FWIW, I'm very proficient in CSS, just not Squarespace :)
