Hover:Background not working still. Come on developers!

So I spoke with someone from help on chat about this but it is still not fixed. 3 days later.  I was told engineers were "working on the issue". ?  

Anyone else using hover:background in portfolio and getting the issue where it doesnt change the header portion of the image?  See pick below.   It wasnt doing this before for me, the full bleed image would change in menu also when cursoring over the page categories. 

I just checked back again and its still doing the same thing.

I have had to resort to hover:follow cursor which is not really what I want at all.  

You can temporarily fix by adding this to Design > Custom CSS

/* Fix portfolio */
body#collection-6087477123f81273e75a916f article section:first-child {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
}

ok that worked for me now.  Thanks.  

I've tried two different sets of codes shared on threads the past week but it's not fixing the problem for me.
Hope this gets patched soon because it's a pretty obvious eyesore.
