accordion Expandable text within markdown block

Hey everyone,

I've been trying existing code found in all the posts related to expandable/accordion text, but I'm finding that it only accommodates title text and body text below. I have a markdown block that has quite a bit of copy, and I want the user to click "Read more" and have the text below expand. How can I achieve this? Some of the code I have used successfully allows the markdown block to expand, but it somehow (and seemingly arbitrarily to me) screws up the formatting. How can I make "Read more" the trigger?

It is now possible to add an accordion menu to your site without custom code. You can do this using the accordion block! We have some further information about the possibilities and customizations of the accordion block in our guide "Accordion blocks."
