remove blank space above footer in Squarespace 7.1

Add to Design > Custom CSS

/* remove footer white spacing */
footer#footer-sections {
    padding-top: 0;
}

I've tried the CSS you have posted and it doesn't seem to work on my situation!
In this website's online shop, when you only have one line of products it appears this 'white space' above the footer, either on desktop version and mobile. Do you know how to control this?

I've contacted SS help meanwhile and they told me it's a structural SS problem and they are dealing with it. Basically, when a page has not so much content it appears a blank space (if you have a coloured background, if it's white you don't even notice). I have solved the situation temporarily by adding another section, which gives the necessary height to the page, avoiding the blank space to appear.
