Blog comments not showing on mobile app 7.1

Hi,

I did a search and it looks like there have been some issues with blog comments but I couldn't find this identical problem or a possible solution. I'm able to view and respond to blog post comments on the desktop site, but I can't even see any comments on the mobile app, much less respond to them. I'm on v 1.38.0, which appears to be the most recent one in Google Play. I know this is a recent issue, because I used to be able to respond to comments on the mobile app (which I prefer to do).

Is something broken? More importantly, how can I fix it?
