Navigation Bar Hover Gif

Hi all,

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to add the customer css for what I want to do or if its even possible. I would to create gif to display on hover for the navigation bar like the site referenced below:

Does anyone know how to do this and if so would you mind sharing the code?

Add to Design > Custom CSS. Do similar for other items
