How to take away hover effect on menu

Hi there, 

I am wanting to remove my hover effect from the menu altogether so the text just goes over the image when I hover over the title. 

Without the fading white over the entire page. 

Any help would be amazing.

Current page called "Nowhere Buildings" 

I want the description to come up without the image fading, transition thing.

Use this to disable the effect site wide

.collection-images .image-container img,
.collection-images .image-container.no-main-image-bg, 
.collection-images .image-container .sqs-video-background {
  transition: none;
}
