Subscription inventory / sold out subscriptions?

Is there a way to create an inventory for subscription products, so they can be marked as sold out?

At the moment I manage bread subscriptions manually through a contact form - I'd like to add the subscription option to my shop page, but I can't see a way of creating a finite inventory number for a subscription product. And it needs to be finite - there is only so much bread I can bake!

We ended up using the CrateJoy checkout option. allows more flexibility, quantity control and if youre just using them for checkout... its only 1.25% + $0.10. totally worth my peace of mind
