Sender Profile Verification Code

I am trying to set up my sender profile. I have my domain verified, but I cannot verify my email because the code will not send. I am curious if this is because my domain is a .co.  If that is not the case does anyone have any other suggestions?  I have check the spam folder a dozen times.
