Home Header nav customization

I have customized the header navigation tabs on my site using 

.header-nav-item
  a[href="/en/media"] {
    color: #008035 !important; 
}

for example and it work for every tab expect for the home tab can someone help me out.

the home tab css code is

    color: #000000 !important; 

also i was wondering if you could make a hover effect that is a fade in circle sort of
