Custom Footer - Clay Template

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://pvastx.org

Hello! The Clay template we use displays business information and hours in the footer. We have two business locations, however, and need to display both. Additionally, the hours are listed in a way that uses a lot of space and the rest of the footer is blank and visually unbalanced. Is it possible to customize the footer in the Clay template with individual elements (text blocks, etc)? Screenshot attached. Thank you in advance!

Hi, Tuanphan! I don't think so, or at least I can't find a way. You can turn the footer on or off, and when it's on it displays the business information provided in the settings in an uneditable layout.

Yesterday I discussed with a friend, I think we can add New Footer to the website. But I haven't tried it yet, I'll test on my site & write a tutorial tomorrow or the weekend.

Saved your question. Will let you know result soon.

Just an update, there have been too many questions to answer recently so I haven't been able to write a guide, but I promise to test it out on the demo site and send you quick instructions this week (if I can do this footer).

You can use this sidebar plugin

1. Install plugin

3. Design footer layout

4. Open instructions.html file > Scroll down to bottom > Desktop breakpoint: Select 9000 > Click For Custom CSS

10. Access Home > Design > Custom CSS > Ctrl V

11. Access Home > Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > Footer > Remove this line

Quote

<link href="/s/plugin-sidebar.css" rel="stylesheet">

12. Share link to your site, I will give the code to make sidebar to Footer.
