Customising gallery page on mobile

Hi, the gallery page on mobile on the Wells template appears as just one long scroll.

Is it possible to code it to scroll like this does on mobile: http://studioveronicaditting.com/ (horizontally, rather than vertically) similar to the desktop version of the site?

If yes, would also be great to tweak the padding of where the caption sits below image?

You can use custom code, but i think it is difficult/time-cosuming to find exactly code.

Hope someone will provide the code for this.
