Use Survey Answers to Suggest Different Products

Hi, I'd like to ask if anyone knows a way for me to essentially match information that someone provides to then direct them to a different product suggestion depending on those answers. I'm trying to see if I can 'match' their input to various 'outputs' - using tags or maybe some kind of extension? If it requires coding, that's okay too!

Here's the flow:
1.  Client completes a survey, answers are text-based answers and we will have already designed all of them so they just 'choose' as opposed to free-text

2. Answers are all 'considered' and we then 'calculate' the best suggestions to them for purchase and we take them to those specific product(s)

3. The client sees the suggestions and chooses the product they want to purchase

So where I'm having trouble is, how can I actually use the answers I get from the survey and actually vary the product suggestions based on that?

Is this possible? Appreciate your help!
