Google Analytics Campaign not working

I’m trying to get a Google Analytics campaign set up with a custom URL like the following:

http://squarespace.<mysite>.com/?utm_source=ourpartner&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=one]

I’ve added my google analytics account to my squarespace site, but these campaigns are not getting captured. My best guess is that Squarespace is stripping the extra query params before GA has a chance to capture them.

Anyone have advice or experience? "Traffic sources" doesn't help us, since the page we are running our ad in, opens our ad in a new tab, and so we're not able to capture any redirect information. Ditto for bit.ly links it appears.
