How do I get two images to display side-by-side on a page?

I'm sure this is probably a trivial question, but I can't for the life of me get two images to display side-by-side on a page. I'm inserting image blocks, dragging them, resizing them, and nothing is working.

I can't find a similar question in the forums which leads me to believe I'm doing something wrong.

I'm using the Devlin template, and it's a full width page I'm working with.

I had a similar problem when using Firefox. You might try Chrome and see if you get a different result. Typically, all you have to do is add two image blocks to a page. Then drag one block to the edge of the first, a blue line will appear with the text Column. Release the image. Squarespace does the rest. See below:

This isn't obvious, I spent a couple hours trying to figure the same thing out. Problem was I only had one image. One you get how it works its easy though!
