  1. Hi, everybody- I'm trying to connect a new squarespace site to a GoDaddy domain, and get the message below after completing the setup. When i check godaddy, the DNS settings look like they've been changed to the required ones for squarespace (see second attached image) , but the domains do not show up under my Domains in Squarespace settings for that site. Any ideas what the problem is? I've had to deal with this in the past on another site but can't remember what the solution was. Thanks! EDIT: never mind, i figured it out!
  2. @tuanphan no, i don't think so- unless there's some code there that would help me figure out how to remove them on mobile. (and if there was a way, i'm sure you'd know it already 🙂 ) thank you again for all your help
  3. My site has a slideshow/carousel, and i've turned off "infinite scroll" When viewed in desktop/landscape, there's no "Previous" arrow on the first slide, and no "next" arrow on the last slide. (and there shouldn't be) When viewed in mobile/portrait orientation, however, there is a "Previous" arrow on the first slide, and a "next" arrow on the last slide. Is there a way to turn these off? I worry that it'll be confusing. I can't share the actual site, but here's a page on a duplicate site with the same issues: https://seahorse-piano-kgst.squarespace.com/new-page-1 password is "password"
  4. @tuanphan great idea- here's a duplicate site with everything else removed. https://seahorse-piano-kgst.squarespace.com/ pw: password thank you!
  5. thanks, @tuanphan - Sorry, i should have mentioned this in my original post, but I am using 7.1 . And for legal reasons, I can't share the page right now 😞 Any tips on how to do this in 7.1?
  6. Is there a way to style (bold/color) certain words in a slideshow title? I tried adding html tags in the text, and while it works within the squarespace editor, looking at the site it displays like this: thanks in advance for any advice!
  7. @creedon holy crap it worked! I owe you a beer (or 12)
  8. @creedon thank you, i didn't realize that code could only be used once per page. Do you knwo if there's a way to work around that? (sorry, i'm not savvy enough to know if the code you posted above was meant as a solution, or illustration of why my problem is happening)
  9. Hi, everyone- this code has been a lifesaver for me on my current project ( thank you @tuanphan your posts have been a huge help to me). I am having a problem now, hopefully someone might be able to help: I want to use the typewriter effect in the first two sections of my homepage. When it's just in the first section, it works great. However, when i add the code block into the second section, the typewriter effect doesn't work in that section! Any thoughts? I can't share the actual site, but i've recreated the problem here: https://fish-koala-cj3k.squarespace.com/new-page-1 pw: password thanks in advance for any help, this forum has been incredible edit: I'm duplicating the section so that i can show one version on desktop, one on mobile, if that matters
