I think I'm pretty happy with the minimalist aesthetic I've got going on. I'm particularly interested if anyone has any navigation or legibility issues, but general thoughts are also absolutely welcome.

I think you might want to allow your header/nav bar to scroll off the screen rather than always be visible. It takes up a lot of screen space, and obscures content, especially on a short page like your homepage. Otherwise it's a pretty tidy looking site.

I just had to enable IMAP in Gmail settings to access it in Mail on the Mac. You might not need to enable less secure apps, depending on what you actually want to do.
