Outside the US, there aren’t any POS solutions that integrate with Squarespace directly. They’ll be completely independent systems, with their own inventory.
For example, if you use Square for POS, you’ll need to add the products to it, set the prices and stock levels. If the stock is to be “shared” between the two, you’ll also need an expensive* third party product like Trunk Inventory to sync the stock levels between the systems. [* $79/month for 201 - 400 orders per month on top of your Squarespace costs]
Sad as it is for me to say this, if you're building a new eCommerce site and need an integrated solution for both in-person and online sales, the Shopify platform is currently excelling in this area. Squarespace sites are easier to manage and so I wish they had a POS product outside the US.

I got a pretty good workaround for this problem from Squarespace's customer support.
Rather than using a background image, you can add an image block to the first section, drag its left and right sides to the edges of the page, and set a custom section height of 1 pixel. That essentially re-creates the background image, but the focus point will be calculated correctly.

Add to Design > Custom CSS

Has this changed with 7.1? I need to change the survey response options as well but don't really want to create individual radio button questions and responses. 

Regarding the costs...
The 'Basic Shopify' plan is currently (Dec 2019) $29/month. This includes a Shopify website.
They also offer a Shopify Lite plan at $9/month to allow you to embed Shopify in your own website using Shopify Buy Buttons.
I'll let others chime in on the Facebook Pixels question.
