Header navigation titles larger space

Currently I have 5 navigation titles - but they dont all fit on the same row. Is there a way to do this, or custom code to increase the size?

Is there a way to customize an image so the best parts are shown? Essentially the gallery block slideshow crops the images based on the size you create "S,M,L" and it cuts off important parts of my images.
