You can disable the sidebars on the pages outside of your blog by choosing 'full width' in page layout.

If you decide you want different sidebars, which I did, you can manually create your own within the page itself by dragging content blocks to the side of the page while you're editing it.

For example, if you have an image, you can drag it over to the left or right side of the page so it creates its own column and then resize it so that the text takes up the majority of the page width. If you want, you could then add more content below the image, like other Image or Text Blocks.

This works for regular pages, not gallery pages.

The template gives you the option of having Sidebar 1, Sidebar 1 & 2, Sidebar 1 & 2 split, or Full Width. Is there anyway to have only Sidebar 2?
