justmytype
I've searched the forums but nothing I try seems to get rid of the bottom padding for my gallery block slideshow (the orange area). I've tried removing padding from the section too. Maybe I'm not targeting something correctly. Any ideas? Thanks for any help! url: https://www.engraftlearningnetwork.org/test-page No password required Link to comment
Ziggy
The gallery block doesn't work well in Fluid Engine, the best thing you can do is edit the page in a narrow browser window, ideally 768px wide, so it maintains the desktop 24-column layout rather than the mobile 8-column grid. When you edit the layout like this it will remove most of the padding, and when the browser gets wider the rows will stretch to accommodate the section contents. justmytype
Thank you, @Ziggy That's interesting. I would think this is a common way to design a banner. Do you know of an alternative way to get the effect I'm looking for -- full screen banner with fading images and static text overlay on all images? Thanks again! Link to comment

justmytype
Thank you for your help @Ziggy! I did end up using that slider but had really wanted a fade functionality rather than a slider. I saw there is an upgrade to premium that provides that, but my client wouldn't want to pay for it. Ziggy 1 Link to comment

That happens, sometimes I take that cost myself as it's worth it to save hours of development time, can be worth it. Please like and upvote if my comments were helpful to you. Cheers!
