Mobile versus computer page styles

I would like a slide show page for my galleries on computer view, but grid style for scrolling on mobile. Apparently gallery page styles are global? Any way around this? When I try a grid on the computer view, the smallest I can make it is "inset", and you can't see an entire image on the screen. I really need two different styles. Thanks.
