Is Design really limited on the shop page?

Hi All,

I'm getting the hang of SqSp and I like what the company is doing in general.

However, in trying to set up my store, I'm having a heck of a time getting it to look like anything I want.

I can't have two products have two different background colors, for example. I can't relocate the text boxes or even align them to the gallery. Even getting the right thing to pull up has been a nuisance.

I get that SqSp is encouraging cohesive branding throughout the site, but I think a little bit more segragation between pages and styles would go a long way.

Am I observing correctly that the design customization options to the store are very limited, or am I missing something?
