Reduce space around images - Gallery block 7.1 FE

Hi

I am rebuilding a photography client site from 7.0 to 7.1 and the gallery images don't look as good as her exisiting site.

This is her existing gallery page: https://www.eyesoflove.com.au/gallery - her portfolio is a mix of landscape and portrait images.

It doesn't seem possible to format it to look like this on the new version no matter what I do.

Is there css code to help with this?

Can you share the 7.1 website gallery page?

On the original page you are using a gallery, have you tried doing the same on the new website rather than setting out individual image blocks?

Try using a gallery section set to Masonry rather than a gallery block.

Designs and UI's evolve. The popularity of features change. If SS didn't evolve we wouldn't have gotten v7.0 or v7.1 and SS wouldn't be around today, probably. I don't agree with everything that SS does and I'm often left scratching my head on the whys of things. But SS is a living, breathing, changing piece of technology. Much like any technology. Your cars change, household appliances change, everything is in evolution. Life is not stagnation.
